How to clean and maintain your handmade timber furniture

CLEANING

Regularly wipe your timber furniture with a damp soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Wipe up any spills as soon as they occur. Do not place hot items directly on the timber surface. 

MAINTENANCE

Fiddes wood surface cleaner can be used to rejuvenate the timber surface. If you have heavy scratches or stains, your surface may need to be sanded back and re-finished, contact our team to discuss a quote hello@studiolette.com.au

NOTE

Timber is a natural material and movement will occur as it heats and cools. You may find that shadow gaps change in size throughout the year, this is normal and part of the quality of solid timber. 

We do not recommend placing your furniture in direct sunlight or directly on heated flooring, as extreme heat can cause colour fading and damage. Hot items such as cups, plates or laptops should be placed on a protective mat.
